“Expat Women special social welfare group celebrates king’s
return”

JEDDAH:
A women special social welfare group of Saudi and Pakistani
expatriates celebrated the safe return of King Abdullah bin
Abdul-Aziz - the custodian of the two holy mosques - after
his surgery abroad. The group welcome him back, prayed for
his safety, long life, prosperity and appreciated his
important role and continued support for Pakistan in the
need of time.
“We welcome his personality and presence for the whole
Muslim Ummah which is considered very important and make
them strong. We can’t forget the role played by the Kingdom
for the welfare of Pakistani people who suffered in the most
devastating flood in the history of Pakistan”, said Safia
Ishaq – the Vice Chairperson of the special social welfare
society.
Naseem Shaikh - Chair person of the special social welfare
society a Saudi national - also said that the return of the
King is a happy occasion, as everyone in the country is
happy and thankful to Allah for his safe recovery.
The
Chief Guest of the program Salma Khan - the principal of
Pakistan International School Jeddah Azizia ( PISJ Azizia) -
praised the organizers for arranging the program and also
commended the role of the Kingdom in helping Pakistan and
the Muslim Umah.
Others who also spoke on the occasion included: Aliya Anwer,
the Principal of PISJ Azizia (after noon shift), Sadiya
Kareem, Tabassum Alvi, Taj Khan and other well known figures
of the Pakistani community. |
